[There's a lone figure walking out of the forest when the first rays of dawn stream over the horizon, and he's got a pack slung over his shoulder; one that's used to an owner with white hair and a slightly broader build

[Sokka doesn't say anything. Not with Sanji. Ginko vanishing at the same time as the Mushi is a bit suspicious. It's not like the Malnosso to intervene on this kind of thing. They didn't for Kefka's burning trees or the killer butterflies. Why would they do that here?
Well. When Ginko gets back, he'll find out for himself. So he closes his journal on that and sighs. One week? Maybe.]
[This place... it makes sense to her that those in charge would take issue with those who help as opposed to those who hurt - perhaps this had been their very purpose. To let the mushi leak into a controlled atmosphere in order to experiment on Ginko afterwards.
[he'd apologize for his abrupt manner, Naoki, but Sanji's not thinking in the usual sense. He knows what needs to be done, and he'll do it - that's all there is to it.
So whenever he's done speaking with Katara, there will be a knock at your door]
Some of the mask promptly drops to the floor, revealing a man who's just tired; exhausted. He takes the offer to enter stiffly. As nice as it is to see Naoki fleshed out again, this isn't a social visit.
When they've reached the living room area, he turns on his heel and gets to business]
[There's a pink haired man taking a walk and smoking. He stops in his tracks at the sight of Sanji, thought, looking at the other intently.
Sanji won't know him but he knows Sanji and he can read in his expression that something bad has happened, thought with all the things happening lately it shouldn't be surprising. Had Luka been here she would have approached him, tried to do something to find out what's wrong or at least cheer him up. But Luki is not Luka and he's not supposed to know Sanji, so all he can do is stare at the other man as he walks by without saying a word himself.]
[Maybe on another day Sanji would have at least paused his step at seeing someone resemble Luka-chan. The guy could pass for her older brother.
Except this is not "another" day. While he does lift his gaze and let it pass over the stranger's face, it's fleeting and unfocused. Just committing the face to temporary memory in case he somehow crosses paths with him again]
[Luki doesn't mind the fleeting and unfocused look, he's not really good at helping depressed people anyway. And the circumstances around this chance meeting aren't helping, not on his part and he's sure not on Sanji's part either.
But he's worried. By himself and due the knowledge that Luka would worry, even if now she's too focused in locking herself out. So how should he deal with the worry about Sanji? The answer is pretty easy: by making sure to track him down through the rest of the day until Sanji is back home to check how his mood is and if he's at least getting help from someone else. He won't be following him per say, but he will reduce his walking paths to make sure to be able to cross paths with the other easily again for the rest of the day.
Not that Luceti is that big to make it hard to do anyway. Don't mind him anyway, for today he's just looking.]
But that doesn't mean Sanji's forgotten that face. The second and third instance he let it go, Luceti's a tiny place to be in. He could be out shopping, visiting friends, other things he didn't give a shit about.
The fourth time spotting the pink-haired man crossing his path, this time after he returned from visiting Xion, has made Sanji a little less forgiving. He stops walking completely, and spears Luki with a glance - an unfriendly one]

No, Katie-chan, he did nothing wrong.

All right.
[And that's all she'll say. But she'll go hunting for him later just like she has for everyone else.]
