[In light of everything's that's happened these past two days - three kidnappings and oh, let's not talk about the draft - for the first time in about six months, Sanji's casting aside his age and throwing the equivalent of a tantrum. A note on Seventh Heaven's door says it'll be closed for the day, and hey, if anyone gets in his face about it-- eh

So instead, Nami leaves him to vent off his temper, because she thinks he might not like her brand of intervention today in any case. She'll be in her room when he finally returns for dinner-- climatact separated and laid aside on the bed next to her, and (of all things) poking at her bare feet with the blunt end of a pen.]

Though he purposely picks a recipe that will take time to cook thoroughly, giving him an excuse to knock on Nami's door not thirty minutes later.]
May I come in, Nami-san?

You ready? [He takes a spot by the wall, his hands loosely shoved into his pockets]

[She tosses the pen aside and starts putting her shoes back on.] What about you?

[But those are mundane tasks to see through, having nothing to do with their situation. His head tilts back, thoughtful]
Ginko and Miyabi are getting dragged along, too. [Which Nami knows, of course. But those names he brings up in particular for reasons he's sure she can guess]

[...Miya can look after herself. Ginko, on the other hand...]
Does he still have his death penalty?
Reply
Yeah. And we can't use filial magic in there. [He's lost his one advantage]
Idiot'll stay out of the way, for all the good that might do him. [It lacks any and all pessimism - just stating the truth. What Ginko will try to do and what the situation will allow are two different things]
I need to keep an eye on him.

I don't know enough about these things. What are the chances he can just stay in the hotel rooms?

I'll help you where I can. [Which should be most of the time, but. Straw Hats do tend to get separated in the middle of this sort of thing 8|a]

And that earns a grin] Thank you, Nami-san.
... There might be a safe-area where the shitty Third Party can't reach, too. [His grin dims as he flips through the possibilities, shakes his head briefly] It'd be safer than escorting the Malnosso to Sector One.
[Which brings up his next point, and he sets his glance back to Nami] Have you thought what you'll do, Nami-san? [Because Sanji doesn't want to assume here]

[And her instinctive reaction is to say stick with the crew, of course, but again, not a hundred per cent certainty for that. And she might be able to offer something better elsewhere. So.]
...Albert's going. He's good at organising this kind of stuff. I might see if he could use my particular brand of skill anywhere-- and I'll have the waver, I think. Speed could be useful.
[But she's not a strategist. Not like Albert. Or Sanji, for that matter. So she gives a small shrug.] Beyond that, I'm not sure. I'll go where I'm useful or I'll stick with you and Zoro.
[And she'd damn well prefer to stick with you guys, that's for sure.]
What about you?

He might stick you with the group that'll be disabling the machines, then. [Which he says with a hint of reluctance, because yeah, he'd like her to stick with them, too]
As for me... [The thought of the Malnosso always twists his stomach in a knot. But families. Women and children. He doesn't care who they are] I'd make a better escort than anything. [He can disable machines, but that's a job Sanji takes when no one else will. This? This is different. He can do what feels most natural]
And who knows what the shithead will do. [snort] I don't think he's got the finesse for machinery.
Reply
You need 'finesse' to destroy it?
[Not that targeting the machines would be his first priority-front-line fighting against whoever comes after them for this guy, which in this case he guesses is the 'Third Party'-whatever-but he has less than no interest in going out of his way to help preserve Malnosso 'works'.]
Reply
Don't need finesse to destroy it, maybe. [Her tone is lazy as she finishes tying her second shoelace.] To dismantle it, though... that's what they want.
[And she cocks her head, because the only reason Bil said not to destroy it would be because years of work would go down the drain. ...she's wondering whether outright destruction would be a good thing or not.
Either way. She's more than willing to fry them if that's what it takes.] We'll be there for three days, I doubt taking out the machinery will take more than one. So you'll see me back after that.
