That's a darling picture -

um...so the puffy, furry things - I'm assuming there's a story there?

The puffy furry things are called Tribbles - it's a Star Trek thing. (Perfect since we're having a Star Trek wedding). Tribbles are creatures that multiply at an annoying rate and cause havoc. Great fertility symbol, huh?
