Just a small update. Things have been a bit hectic, relatives visiting and abstracts to submit, books to read. Also graduate school admissions, which are crazy and simultaneous crush and inflate my ego.

Nope, no tumblr for me! &hearts

I'm currently snowed in. Well I say snowed in, but it's actually only about six inches or so, but we consider that deep here. And it still manages to mess up the entire country, regardless of how much warning they have. The only bad thing is that I woke up this morning and my central heating, which has been a bit dodgy for a while now, has died. So I'm huddling over my laptop in my dressing gown with my little hot water bottle to stay warm.

Am still struggling on with the writer's block. I'm writing at the moment, but it's all very blah with no pacing and flat prose. So I've been distracting myself with 'the research'. Ninjas man. Ninjas.

Nooo RIP central heating, hope that the water bottle is doing the job. I live in California so I only see snow...when I choose to (e.g. skiing). Writer's block is so ew. I was going to do some new drabbles for the naruto_meme yesterday but I just stared at the screen for a bit and then went to sleep ^^;;;
