I've been collecting X-Men comics for about thirty years and though the last spate of films were a mixed bag for me (Patrick Stewart/Ian McKellen yes; anything Wolverine NO), I'm in love with the uber-UST between McAvoy and Fassenbender. They just round out the fandom with so many lovely new edges. Although I don't know if you've ever followed the comics, I had a bit of a laugh at the line about Charles dropping a love-child or two-- he did, in a couple of the X-Men universes, but I like your solution-- just do it with Erik instead! Problem solved. :D Thanks for sharing-- wonderful and evocative as always.

LOLL well I figure with all the throwing about of genetics that went on in that movie flagrant disregard for mutant love-children would be an easy--but flimsy--excuse Erik might come up with. I don't collect the comics unfortunately, had a brief stint in X-factor (faction?) due to some unrequited love drama with Havoc that as a 13 year old I found very moving; I was obviously missing the bigger picture. Thank you :>
