So, I read the first Scott Pilgrim book. It was...strange, but not in a bad way.

Also, I'm considering buying one of those HP tablet-laptops. Do any of you know if they're any good? Or should I just go with a Macbook Pro?

The first one is definitely a little weird and the transition from slackermysteryromcom to AW YEAH VIDEO GAMES is a little jarring. It gets better as it goes along, though!

well i just read the first book and from that it's pretty obvious that it's pretty dependent on a person's taste. the writing is really clever though and it's hilarious. and i heard it gets even better?

Based on this review and one other I've seen but can't remember how to find, I wouldn't bother with the tablet pc.

But that's like the very first model they released, so I think it's improved by now. And what I saw at Best Buy was less than $900, so it's pretty good. Tbh, I just want it because it'll be easier to browse stuff/use Photoshop on a tablet.
