See, Saturday was SUPPOSED to be spent at Renfaire. It was not. It was spent at the hospital, where after five or so hours, they took my appendix out. It is very painful - the having appendicitis and the recovery immediately afterward - and I do not recommend it at all. B's mom wound up kicking her smoking habit after breaking her hip a few years back - since she couldn't smoke in her room and obviously couldn't make it downstairs and outside with a broken hip, she wound up going cold turkey in the hospital.

Glad to hear that your body didn't actually succeed in killing you.

Thanks, pretty girl. I got your "get-well" card yesterday, and it was sweet of you to send it. I also appreciate that having had this happen now as opposed to the time period indicated by the horse and buggy on said card is a major stroke of luck, lol.

It was very scary and I am damn glad it can only happen once.
