I will never not toss in a fujoshi joke. it's kind of obligatory, especially when I am THE BIGGEST slash tan ever, anyway.

It totally makes me giggle. Even though I'm not a slash fan. NARUSASU IS JUST CANON. And how you write it makes me wanna love it even though I don't. /is a biased bitch -- Just think of it as like. REVEY'S FICS MAKE NONBELIEVERS BELIEVE. Or something. |D

You're welcome, bb <3

ahaha I hadn't thought of this as fluffy, but I guess it is, compared to my last two entries. XD

and thanks! but now that it's narrowing down to the best of the best plus me in this competition, I'm pretty sure I'm getting knocked out this round. I can't really hold out much hope of moving on when I'm reading all this awesomeness. T__T

Oh man. A jealous Kakashi is always a fun Kakashi. I think it's really interesting how you made Naruto "the other man" for this story, and drew so much conflict from that point. He really turns into that unreachable, untouchable barrier to the relationship, especially with him being outside of the village. So it's understandable how Kakashi would become so frustrated and pained by the happenings of the story, and by how Sakura secretly pines so much for this other unreachable boy. Then even when she confesses the fact, and admits her confusing desire for both of them... how painful!

There are some very raw and intense emotions here that makes such a strong impact for the story. Especially in the end, when Kakashi quotes the phrase "Only this and nothing more" and we get that final sense of how their relationship was nothing more than substitute for what Sakura truly desired. Once again... the emotions here are RAW AND INTENSE.

Excellent work, Oceansex. I think you really rocked this prompt, and wish you the best of luck for the

Ooh, guuuurl! I finally got to read this, and I like it a lot.

I loved that first moment when Sakura and Kakashi are in bed together and you realize that, whoa, they, they're in the bed together, and how much pain they're both experiencing from what it means to be together.

Almost had a heart attack:
"He promised me he would. He promised," she whispers, staring at the sink as she fills it with water.

"Even Naruto knows how to lie," Kakashi says flatly, and it makes her want to cry.

Sweet baby jesus, this moment was like, the entire fic in a nutshell for me.
