I can only see a fight about Lucario replacing Mewtwo on Smash Brothers, so they "fight" to see who's "stronger."

First series/just-pre first series (around that time) Oak dealing with the fact that he knows it's pedophelia, yet can't help his feelings. Once Ash reaches 18, he decides to tell him about his given-up fantasy because he feels that he deserves a right to know. Ash is confused/too many emotions to say, blowing his top a little at Oak.

You could even include the fact that he had developed these feelings during the events of 4Ever as a boy and never really left them.

Kinks: December/May without May knowing (if you get my drift), hatesex, Oak in general.

(Another little play on the joke of 'Oak is a pedophile' but a bit more srs, because it could be good fic! No sex unless it's hatesex at the end please anon!)
