On Sunday (July 3), I got up early to grab a shower and get ready before breakfast. Naoko and I were dropped off at Kobuchi Station and headed into Yokohama. We met up with her daughter, Yuko, her two sons, and another KCP student Emily for some exploration and shopping. I wanted a Hard Rock Café Yokohama glass and so we hit there first, followed ( Read more... )

Funny (to me, I'm certain) about Duffy. When I lived in CA about 8-9yrs ago, I got a small stuffed-animal of Duffy (I don't know if he actually had a name at the time) with magnets at the hands and feet for him to grab onto things. The tag had the whole story about him getting lost and Mickey finding him and hugging his so hard that his Mickey face got imprinted on his face (the white portion). So yeah, all innocence was lost when I saw the Mickey logo on the bear's ass, too. I started calling him my yaoi bear ( ... )

lmao. Nice. My friends would TOTALLY have done that too. I'll have to share that story - I need to check if the Duffy bears they bought have such marks! What have you been up to?

Haha, I bet those bears do. I just hope that doesn't ruin the bears for them. ;)

Eh, I had an interview the other week and stressed since then about whether or not to take the job. I'll have to mention it on my LJ later, but basically, I got a good sense that the main partner is an ass. The firm is only 9 people... oh wait, 8 people since someone left, which means I wouldn't be able to avoid that guy, especially since they promote a team mentality. It was a hard decision, but I decided to withdraw my application. I have dealt with ass bosses before and I don't want to willingly step into a situation that looks dangerous from the start.

Other than that, I've been working and writing, nothing too eventful. That's why I follow all of your adventures. ;) Best of luck with everything you're up to! Those kanji tests sound hard, especially if you have to write them correctly. I can barely read a handful of them, and that was hard enough for my brain. ^^;

It won't ruin it. They like yaoi. :)

Awww, that's too bad. Was that the really promising forensics position? :(

I'll be looking forward to the next update, of course, as I always am! And you're welcome to live vicariously through me, though I expect you'll make it here yourself someday.
