the camper was a real find and going to bring us years of joy and fun - and we really wouldn't have done it if we hadn't convinced ourselves we NEEDED it.
So it's a win all around.

Honestly, it's the quirks like that that make it so attractive to us - if the house were 'done' it would have 2.5 or 3.5 bathrooms. It needs two more upstairs, an ensuite, and a main bath, the master needs more closet space... depending on the layout, we'll lose 1 or two bedrooms and it will STILL be a 5 bedroom house - with a glorious master suite, and a stunning main bath.
Sure, it's a lot of work - but unlike here in Seal Cove, there'll be no time limit or gun to our heads to get it done, we can take the time to do it the way we want it. Which is what we wanted in a house all along - a canvas on which to paint our vision of the glorious country home :)
