How long and tall is the fence, and what material? Because I had no idea it would cost as much as a new car.

1476 feet of 4 ft 3 rail fence.

So about $5 per square foot.

is usually calculated on a linear foot basis, the height doesn't change, and you're gonna sink a post every six feet - so they come up with a price per linear foot... in this case $20.50

It is a particularily difficult fencing job, as residential fences go.... forest, hills, rocks, swamp...the price shocked me, but it didn't
