Hey, thanks for the article! Jeez, and to think I just asked for opinions and hints... next I will ask you for one hundred dollars (and hope for millions!).

I agree that number three is by far the hardest thing to do. As with meeting a new person, introducing a new character in a story simply leads to so many questions. I feel as if I could write entire stories for each character. I mean why are they the way they are? Who were their parents? How did they get to this point in their life?

As for number two, I've begun to consider either not writing down every new idea, or converting them into ideas for the current story. This may eventually mean I am writing some sort of Film Noir/Sci-Fi/Fantasy type story. But I guess that is what makes writing the best: The ability to create new worlds and destroy others.
