Ummm... I think the pet name depends on the pet. For example, I could say "Fluffy," but what if the cat or dog is anything but fluffy? My family in Mexico used to have this big, glorious, white Alaskan Samoyed who we named Bear, and I was given a beautiful orange tabby who I named Gato in honor of Cat in Breakfast at Tiffany's. Everybody in Mexico seems to think that I have no imagination. Then I had this Rottweiler mix who was black as night so I named him Othello because at the time I was reading the play for IB English. So, I don't have a favorite pet name, I just like to name my pets according to their personality or looks.
