Gift advice

I am working on a 10th anniversary gift for my husband. It's a scrapbook with lots of photos of us and some poems i wrote. Our anniversary is tomorrow, though, and I will not have it finished. Should I wrap it and give it to him tomorrow and tell him i need to keep working on it, or should I wait and give it to him when it's done? we have plans
