Pretty much everyone has been doing this. Some of my friends and I were lamenting at the lack of LJ updates, because we agree that Facebook is utilitarian, but we still like LJ better.

I've been favoring Facebook too, so you're not alone.

I always wondered, does Cheryl have any children? I never asked, but always kind of thought she didn't because she had that well-meaning, but maybe trying a little hard because she wasn't quite sure how to relate thing with us when we were younger.

She does not. It was kind of funny last night my dad made a comment about how she regretted not having children, and she rushed to deny that she had such regrets. she does always mean well, and she's great with the kids. But sometimes she acts like she knows what it's like to give birth and raise kids when she doesn't. That can be a bit grating. their visit went well, though.
