I sympathize with the drabble-writing difficulty. It's hard to write within limits. But I think you did a good job here of conveying their situation effectively (poor Matthew, it sucks to be helpless) in just a couple of sentences. Good job. :3

Thank you! I'm always paranoid when I post drabbles that no one will be able understand what's going on--I'm wordy by nature, and cutting things down so much always feels wrong. It's good to know I'm at least marginally comprehensible! =D

Being helpless does suck, especially when you're used to being on top of things, like Matthew is.
