I love all of the stories out there about Ryan's father. What I haven't read (but would like to) is a story where, instead of Ryan's father going to jail, he manages to climb up the criminal ladder. Reading this I was reminded of Hero Worship by brandywine421. In that one, Ryan's biological father is a mobster guy (Dawn's husband isn't Ryan's real father).

Oh, I remember this story.
And Argh, now I want to reread it again.
This happens to me all the time someone asks for a bunny and we find something slightly similar.
*sigh* If only I had the time, the time.
