First day back at work after annual leave and nothing much had changed. We've got a new consultant, a new manager and two new OT students and still, nothing much has changed. Same as always. I've been sitting at home all day in anticipation of a parcel and it's finally arrived! :D It's my neeeew Cambridge Satchel Company 11 inch satchel and it's perfect and lovely and purple. I know it's wanky to do one of these posts but I don't care because I'm so happyyyyy xD

Starting a new diet. Another one. Despite walking to and from work, spending 50% of the time at work on my feet, five days a week, for 4 months, I have somehow managed to gain weight. And now that I drive to work and spend 90% of the time at work sitting down, I need to get serious about this shit. At least there isn't a Zouki anywhere nearby.

I attended the Emerging Writers Festival today, held at Melbourne Town Hall. I was late to arrive, since this morning I was plagued by a sense of unease about the whole thing (not quite dread but just a reluctance to leave the house) but it was fine because there were others who were also late. So I'm stuck trying to decide something quite trivial. I want a new mobile phone. I just don't know whether I buy should buy it outright and stay on my current plan, or pay $10 to get a better plan. Yesterday I picked up the bed base. Luckily there were two guys in the flat who were willing to help carry it up the stairs and into my flat and I was so grateful I gave them an extra $20.
