Tomorrow, on Saturday, will be my grandma's funeral. I truly miss her. Her journey will be blessed at 2pm in front of nearly 100 guests, all of her close relatives. I better stock myself with tissues because I can't keep my eyes dry. :) On a lighter note, this is an opportunity to meet relatives I haven't seen in years.

I am sorry for your loss. You are right about the funeral being an opportunity to meet family members; especially if there is a gathering after the funeral it can almost seem like a family reunion. There is joy to be found in beng with family during a time of loss.

I saw many of my cousins, some that I haven't seen in two decades. It was a lovely reunion for all of us.
