San Bernardino, CA can be summarized with one word: ghetto. The only worthwhile hotels are located on Hospitality Lane. This in mind, and with Electric Daisy Carnival coming this weekend, you can imagine that a good two-bed non-smoking room was difficult to secure this late in the game. San Bernadino is uberghetto! I used to go to parties there almost every weekend in high school. word to the wise: avoid the Masterdome at all costs!! It's a really strange rave scene.

Electric Daisy is a blast and the fairgrounds are actually quite nice and clean. I'm a big fan of hanging out by the pond. have a time!

I was there for Nocturnal Wonderland 2003 - that's the only reason I'm aware of San Bernardino's inherent ghetto fabulous nature.

What's this about the Masterdome? Never been, tell me more!

This is my first Electric Daisy - I'm really looking forward to it, as you can see! I'll injest something illegal near the pond just for you! :)

Here's to illigal activites by the pond (excluding public urination, of course)!! II want to hear about it when you're back!

The Masterdome is an old wrestling ring that has been turned into a venue for parties most weekends. I haven't been since my raver days circa '98-'02 (behold the oldskoolness), so it could be closed down by now. It's a great venue in the sense that it's layed out perfectly, spaciously and there's tons of outdoor room-- but for some reason parties there ALWAYS seem to have this kind of creepy crackhead/ghetto vibe and they always shoved the Jungle room away in this tiny 10ft/10ft corner by the bathrooms-- a sinful waste of a good happycore roomm if you ask me :) But if you are still looking for a place in that area, check out the Glasshouse in Pomona, it's an olde theatre turned venue and a really awesome space to chill in.
