The thing about being a good writer is that you can write something horrific and yet the reader is still fascinated and unwillingly sympathetic. Granted we have this image of Dean we keep in our minds but it was quickly replaced by the portrait you were drawing of this Dean. Fascinating, vivid and compelling in it's darkness.

It tickles me to no end that you mentioned you might write more of this scenario. It seems so NOT Dean/Cas in a way that had anybody else written this, I probably would not have read it. But you managed to keep the essence of them, despite the darkness of it. Which is what you're so very good at, and why I need to shut the fuck up before I turn into a wibbling fangirl, OHMIGOD *facepalm*
