he relentlessly continued to tell John that they were best friends, always would be; how much John meant to Paul. Comments like "Fuck Stuart Cuntcliffe," peppered the conversation at regular intervals. haha... I loved the Cuntcliffe thing! :D ( ... )

Do you know by any chance where Paul said that? I'd really love to read the interview. :)
And thanks a lot for reading. ♥

This is hilarious. Would that it was true!!
And of course the next morning inevitably comes ... and they both pretend nothing happened. Ha.
People here keep mentioning the "three drinks and I'm anyone's" quote that Paul is supposed to have said (a quote that always makes me smile). But I've never actually found a source for that quote. Who did Paul say that to? When? What interview? It's another one of those Beatles quotes (like the unpleasant remark that John is supposed to have said about Ringo not even being the best drummer in the Beatles) that people repeat but no one seems to know where it came from. I'd love to know the original source if anyone knows it!

"Favourite Drink: If I could only choose one drink it would have to be water. When I’m a bit hung over that’s all I can take. But I still like a Scotch and Coke. I can’t overdo it any more. Four’s my maximum, four and I’m anybody’s."
