Pastries, milkshakes, the Eiffel Tower, and a nap together. What's not to love?
Thanks for taking the time to set the scene of them touring around and enjoying the cafes. We have so few pictures of the two of them in Paris, that it's kinda amazing to read about it here and feel like you can almost imagine them doing these very things. Lovely chapter. More soon, I hope!

I like this a lot!. I don't know why I have this special love for young John and Paul, and especially John and Paul in Paris... I guess it makes me dream away, so reading a story about this is lovely.

"Dunno. I'm tired. I don't feel like bloody chatting up anyone now who doesn't even understand a fucking thing I'm saying."
I love this part. It could be I'm reading way too much into it, but I feel like John's talking as much about Paul as about the girls at this point. Well, sort of. Maybe?

Love the two of them so much and I love your characterisation of them! :)
To me it seems like Paul often still is the younger one of them but he sort of knows how to handle John and what's right to say and what's not. Like at the end, he suggests to go back to the hotel because he knows that there is nothing to do to fix John's mood other than a little break.
Ehmm... Hope you understand what I'm trying to say - I'm German, sorry for any language mistakes or misunderstandings. ;-)
Anyway, I already love this story! :)
