Why do I say that? Because this story hasn't been updated since July 23rd, 2008. Yes, I'm serious.

But fear not, good readers! For I have not forgotten it (even if some of you have *lol*).

And this is another instance when I think links to the previous parts are necessary, so:

OH, and guess what. You suck. My brain now envisions this as a triple-crossover. Just watch GI JOE, and can you imagine Lucy Diamond in that universe? Makes you wonder what's with Tatum playing multiple 'Duke' characters. But hey...it could work!

Huh. You know, I never even noticed that. Interesting coincidence, though. I think Lucy Diamond would kick the crap out of Cobra. ;)

I know! She would! And be so awesome doing it. But I reckon she and the Baroness coulda been entertaining. Mind, I do mean Badass!Baroness. Heh.

God, it's scary just how well a crossover would work...mind, it's scarier as it requires using *your* crossover first. :p

Yeah, I wasn't exactly thrilled by what they did with Baroness in the movie. (I don't even like that she's suddenly American, really. I mean, I can live with it, but she really is supposed to have that accent of hers. ^_^)

Well, I think it might have to be set a good decade or so in the future, to get STM!Duke to the same place (career-wise, if nothing else) as GI Joe!Duke. And its scary how well a LOT of crossovers could work. ;)

Welcome back!
I've been checking back on this site everyweek waiting for your work and am damn glad to have you back.
Also, it's nice to see Viola being the one who's nervous instead of Olivia.
In the pre-DEBS stories it always seemed like Olivia wasn't appreciated enough by Viola - like she wasn't worth her whole attention, but was expected to just wait around for Viola to find the time for her. I'm kind of hoping Viola realizes that she can't take Olivia for granted or expect Olivia to be willing to share again. Remember, Olivia was the most wanted girl at Illyria - if Viola thinks she can string her along forever, she's got another thing coming.

Thank you. ^_^ And I felt horrible for neglecting this story for so long, so I was happy to finally be able to update it.

I'd say it was a bit more even then that - it was also Olivia who had decided that "they" couldn't happen - and neither one wanted to hurt Duke like that. They just... couldn't quite help themselves. ;) And you'll note, Viola has decided that she wants Olivia, and only Olivia. ^_^

You want Viola/Olivia action? Just wait for chapter five. *evil grin*
