After many years of living in it, I have come to the conclusion that the people in this world are pretty much not unique, and in fact are all horribly similar; and that this world is chock-full of boring, predictable, bland, and in general un-interesting people.

And you have NOWHERE to go to escape from them.

I agree with you 100%. Even our experiences are similar. It's our desire (which all of us have) to be different which makes us attempt to become unique, thereby making us even more similar.
