I voted for stock icons but I also love texture/quote icons, so it's all good either way!

I like stock icons better, but only if they've got words in 'em. Or at least a word. :) And the words have to be legible, sometimes people make them so tiny or light that I can't read them and that only serves to annoy me. :)

Generally I prefer stock, however your last two text icons are awesome in regards to the reference. More of those please! :D
