Okay, I know I promised that my next post would have bases or icons, but I'm going to have to rephrase the promise - within the next week, there will be posts by me with bases and/or icons.

For now, I have a poll. I know, I know, it's a sickness!

I love your contests, and I would enter every one of them if I could, but I have almost zero time anymore. I don't know if I'll be able to enter another one for a long time.

All of my 'others' were because it was before I joined the community.

Just my two cents.. I'm not an experienced icon maker, so I'm sometimes intimidated by the contests with a lot of technical requirements (like OI #2, 6 and 13). I like the themed ones better because I love the fact that anyone can be involved. And with only a general theme to follow, I think the makers can be more creative.

For J#1-OI#9, I wasn't part of the community -- or, at least not at active part for OI#7-OI#9, anyways.

But yeah -- I love most of the contests. At first I really didn't like the foto_decadent idea, just 'cause I hated most of the pictures over there, and didn't look very far back. But after seeing the type of icons people made...I'd definately enter if such a contest was used again!
