Jia often inspires me, because she is awesome. In this case, she inspired me to do the next contest! It's a somewhat like #13, with choosing images, but I added a bit of a twist.

Sorry to be a bother but...when do you think you'll get the word bases up? I want to see what you made out of everyone words. ^^

No telling. Perhaps not at all. As a general rule we have icon ADD. I don't know about Ariel, but I never post a set like that unless I feel it is complete in some way, and because she and I in particular are fundamentally flighty about completing tasks there is no way of knowing when or if we will finish certain sets.

Ok- first attempt at your competitions.. They're both for 'nostalgia'. Hope I have vaguely the right idea!

All icons on LJ need to be under 40K: go into File Manager (or the equivalent on your computer) and right-click on the file; within the menu, click 'properties'. That'll give you file size.

I haven't checked yours, but I assume they're just fine. Unless you go REALLY crazy on optimization, colors and detail, the file size limit never affects still icons (they're usually quite a bit under). The set in question that was disqualified had animated icons that were over the limit-- animation is by far the easiest way to pump up icon file size.

So, generally, if your icons are not animated, they'll be fine file-size-wise. =)

I like this set of contests - I don't like them back to back. I would have preferred it if there was another more free form "choose your own picture" one in between. Something very simple - a movie, a word, animal, anything like that. I'd also like there to be a third choice above of "combine two of these images" or "use any or all of the images."

I should say that I love everything you do, and am only giving constructive criticism (feedback :) ) cause we were asked.
