Artists' quotes and fractal bases

Still catching up with entries from my old icon journal. This set combines two separate fractal entries posted over the summer. My apologies to those who have already seen them.
Comments are appreciated; feedback is good for the creative soul. If you take something let me know, using either the file name or a brief description - whichever is easiest ( Read more... )

Would you mind if I used one of the fractal bases as a background in my layout? If so, do you have anymore? They're great!

Thanks; I'm glad you like them. :) If you're going to tile one of the bases for a bg, no problem, but if you're considering resizing, I would prefer that you didn't. Do I have more? Only a couple of hundred or so lol. Apophysis is just as, if not more, addicting than iconmaking. I should also mention that it's a free program.

I love playing with this program - the fractals are like little inkblot tests to me. Many of the bases here are crops of sadly resized images I have featured in a little digital art gallery on my LJ. You can see some of the larger images (but not full-sized; I don't have those uploaded anywhere because they're huge) here.

btw, if you do decide to use one as a bg in your layout, please let me know. I'd love to see which one you chose and how it looks. :)

Oh, sure! I'm really excited about playing with it. You don't have to worry about my resizing because I have no photo software at the moment, which is pretty frustrating. I'd like to use one of the larger ones, but I wouldn't want the text on there. I love dragon birth; it's beautiful. I won't do ask you to now, but if you have free time at some point in the future, would you be willing to remove the text? I would obviously give you credit, no matter how I use these (icons or whatever). *smiles prettily*

As for what I'm going to try: 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 19, 20, 21, 24, 28. lol I love them! :D
