Oh, man...such a great illustration for their relationship. I love the idea of her continuing to visit every year, and even with the foreboding building towards the end, the final part hit hard. But it felt right. I love the idea of Lee growing into his sixties, "looking like his father, but not." Love that Lara keeps in touch with her playful side, too :-)

YES! This was actually a rather spontaneous favorite idea of mine, because I'm always so sad that Lee is basically left alone by the end of the series - long explorer or no, but I love the idea of his relationship with Kara being an anchor, and her need to be THERE for him, because even when I don't ship it, I really love their buddy-relationship and that they are just there for each other even when they don't particularly want to be or have any idea what's happening. :)

Very sweet. Sad and doomed from the start, but I love Kara coming back to visit Lee. Maybe they'll have a better chance next time around. :)

I love the peace and comfort of their annual encounters. And the fact she came for him in the end. So very sweet.

Just like Kara to keep an eye on him until he's ready to go and join her, even though he doesn't know it yet. It's so perfectly them.
