Ah - *hugs* - don't we all? Sometimes, I wonder if there was maybe a way to end the show without them ever having found land, but finding it in each other - cliched as it sounds. It often makes me sad that so much fell apart by the end of the show, scattered - after going through so much together. *sigh*

Anyway, ah - I can? :)

And yes, it feels like Dee was the sort of person who was always there when things got crazy and things went beyond reason, she was always there to give voice to the reasons.

This is a wonderful little story of what could have been. I love that Gaeta saved Dee and that Dee via her talk with Roslin turned around and saved Gaeta right back again (because I really do think in a world where Dee was still alive and Roslin took back her power he would never have mutinied). Your Dee voice was excellent and it really took me back to the scene where she gave Adama a talking to and convinced him to return to Kobol. Lovely story.

Thank you so much! And it means so much that you read this and liked the idea (because I sometimes think the same way too - just one little change paid forward). Also, I'm glad the voice was okay. That scene with Adama was always one of my favorites with Dee, and I deliberately wanted to capture that moment here. *hugs*

It is a great pity that RM didn't follow this route. the latter part of series 4 wouldn't have pissed me off so much. Also there should have been more talks with President and the voice of the fleet.

please write more * bows and holds out fic bowl greedily*. Possibly describe their reaction to the return of *Holy Starbuck* they can't be the only women in both human and cylon fleets!

I've always to see more of the civilian side of things, about all the 'little' lives they had floating through space when off-duty, and I would have loved and adored more female-female interaction.
