Whee, shopping! In fancy big city stores too. I tend to just hit the suburban shopping centers instead of going up to San Francisco because I'm lazy. Though even that ends up being a hike because the malls/boutiques in the immediate vicinity are clearly targeted at venture capitalists and techies, not grad students on a budget.

This year I've promised myself not to look at the bidding until after the auction closes. If your price is low it makes you feel bad and if it's high its only real function is to stroke the ego, which is not entirely healthy either. Not to mention that "high/low" is generally judged in the context of other people so it all feels a bit, you know.

Since you're already saving up I'm assuming you're going to get one hell of a wardrobe. :D Roland Mouret everything!!

Aww, thanks for saying that. I've wanted to make a Hermione vid for years and have never been able to find the right song for her. But even if I stumbled upon the perfect tune now, it seems it's too late for me since I've lost my vidding mojo.

I was so ready to make a BB vid for festivids and that turned out to be the year they excluded the fandom. So I sneaked it into my offer list here. :D
