Playing straight or gay characters is not much of an indication of sexual orientatio, though? Non of the leads of QaF UK are gay (well, they've at least all had spouses), and Kelly played at least a couple of none straight roles. It's acting, isn't it, and tons of gay actors have played straight roles. I think the majority of gay roles are actually played by strainght actors, because they are less worried about people making assumptions about their sexualily.

So, how's Looking panning out? I've seen the first ep and liked it but wasn't floored by it. I don't even know why I stopped watching, I think I just forgot about it. Plus, there were a lot of bad 70's porn moustaches that put me a bit off. Is it worth catching up?

It's OK I think. I don't like it the way I used to like QAF, although Russell's character makes it more interesting. I'm not a huge fan of Girls either and it seems very much in that vein. I agree with the thing about facial hair. :D
