I have some free time and a free cinema ticket this weekend. Should I go see The Five Year Engagement or Snow White and the Huntsman? Settled. I forgot about Ian McShane in Snow White, which turned it into a no-brainer.
Tough choice. Love Emily Blunt, but can't stand Jason Segel; love Charlize and Chris Hemsworth, but can't stand Kristin Stewart. Hmm. I'd probably go for eye candy fantasy over rom-com.
Ha, I agree with everything you said. Oh, except I do plan to drink, and Jason Segel is acceptable to me when drunk. (Kristin Stewart, not so much.) Decisions....
I just can't at the whole plot of The Five Year Engagement (How does being offered a job/whatever and living somewhere elsewhere for 1/2/3/4 years prevent you from getting married if you're living together anyway? ) and Snow White seems like it's super pretty and has Chris Hemsworth soooo, I'm gonna go with that.
But everyone knows gingers have no souls! XD We'll probably try and visit the highlands next year. I went to Glasgow last week but only saw the inside of a hotel. Again.
I just got back from seeing Snow White and it was ok... I don't usually find Hemsworth particularly attractive when he's blond, but damn if he couldn't get it when he's got the brown hair, UNFFF. And his awful attempt at a Scottish accent wasn't even that hard to put up with tbh. I did feel they took it too seriously though, there were several times I was loling inside at how srs bzns they got with the screaming, and my friend and I were laughing at the last shot and wondering if the movie was going to end because it went on forever. But I'd definitely see it over the Five Year Engagement, because it was indeed very pretty and is more something you'd want to see on the big screen versus a comedy you could just watch at home.
