back, outtakes 2007

Jun 06, 2007 23:27

Back now! Have moved house, and M. has moved up with minimum fuss. Three vids in various stages of completion, none of them particularly talk-worthy at this point.

But I do have fun things to talk about. In my absence from net I was mostly hanging out at Outtakes 2007, the annual gay/lesbian film festival. What follows: a phantom pregnancy from ( Read more... )

life stuff, outtakes, movies

Thanks for such comprehensive reviews. I'll certainly be seeking out The Saddest Boy in the World and 3 Needles now.

I've been looking forward to this roundup, and it didn't disappoint! Very interesting, informative look at the the films, and much laughter when I got to the amateur porn.

Definitely the largest crowd I've watched porn with.
Now there's a statement you don't see every day.

So much so, in fact, that when we got to the inevitable climax (heh), everybody burst into spontaneous applause.
Ran out of breath laughing at this.

Emotional content is secondary; it really is as straightforward as the way men enjoy lesbian porn.
So in what way do you think men connect with lesbian porn? Do you see it as a purely physical thing? (I might be getting ahead of myself asking these questions here as opposed to in a week or so during the vid beta)

Lead Role: Father sounds like just a brilliant concept. Wish I could have seen that one. I don't think I'd have the emotional resilence to make it through The Saddest Boy In The World just because of the subject matter.

Well, I think men connect with lesbian porn in a very visceral, immediate-reaction kind of way. I.e. "I see it, oooh I like what I'm seeing."

In regard to your vid, without having seen it I'm making the following assumption: that even though it's very p0rny, it's not going to be ALL about the porn. There will be something other than "hee! Hot women having implied sex!"

Unless you're putting a bit of a slant on POV and having it from the angle of one of the male characters, in which case, fun!

You know, from your reactions to... everything, I'll be surprised if you could sit through any film or show that depicts any sort of little boy suffering! That's a lot of good stuff you're missing, Brad. :P

Hey, who needs that when you could have lesbian pr0n? :)

I do wish I could have seen some of those films.

*Pounce* Glad to see you back hon. Moving is such a trial sometimes, so I'm glad it went well and that you're all done.

I'm sorry that this is completely random, but I think that you recommended a movie (I don't know how long ago) about two men in the UK that were friends when they were young but lost touch later on. One of the men becomes a women and meets up with the man later in life and they end up starting a romantic relationship. I can not for the life of me remember the name.

Again, if this doesn't ring a bell at all, I'm sorry and ignore.

Its called 'Different for Girls'(http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116102/). I was rec'd this movie a year or so ago by oxoniensis and really liked it. I've never encountered a situation like this in a movie before. It was interesting.

The sex started out interesting but quickly became a bit samey, and it went on... and on... and on. So much so, in fact, that when we got to the inevitable climax (heh), everybody burst into spontaneous applause.

I wish I could applaud when the moaning and bed-squeaking from my roommate's side of the apartment finally stops. If only because I am instantly no longer desperately uncomfortable.

Also - *glomp* yay you're back!!!! :D

I heard your rooming situation is quite horrible at the moment! So sorry to hear that! You should slip your roommate some anti-viagra.
