That juxtaposed two iconic aspects of Sherlock that are perhaps the most revealing parts of his personality. Wonderful job.

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. And yes, that was the intention, because I always felt Sherlock didn't care what anyone thought of him except John, from the moment they met in that cab in ASiP, and John cared all too much about what everyone else thought and never yet made it clear that he never doubted Sherlock for a second, until the very end. Broke my heart, that did. :(

The format looks great. This is awesome, I love all of the word patterns, like this:

To Sherlock, it would not have mattered what the world thought.
To John, it meant the world what they thought about Sherlock.

and

Somehow Sherlock knew him better than he knew himself.

And he knew Sherlock better than Sherlock knew himself.

And there had been perfect
symmetry

and so many others. This is not only cleverly done, but incredibly insightful.

This was great! And the format actually made it awesome!
I particularly liked the part that said "To John, Sherlock would never be a sociopath.

Because he felt too much. He cared too much.
