Now you understand my post about me crying by the end of it.
I mean, if you read the play, the character comes across as a rather arrogant upper class arse who has nothing but contempt for the common people like us. Yet, somehow Hiddleston managed to humanised him, made us sympathised with him, and MADE ME CRY FOR HIM BY THE END OF IT. Fuck, IDEK. Wish I could've been there in the live audience, but I'm not up to getting to the box office at 6am and then getting into work 80mins late to get day tickets, and then stand for the 2.5h of the play.
Sigh. Sometimes I wish I was a more motivated fangirl instead of this lazy version that just can't be bothered most of the time. :P
