Steampunk Project - Advance of the Britannic Pattern

As (long) promised, now that I've had a bit of free time on my hands I've gotten back to work on the source material and background for the steampunk Roleplaying Game system me and my friend Dave have been working on. This sounds really cool. I appreciate the presence of a non-Caucasian, non-villainous (maybe?) Steampunk setting.

Yeah, the Non-Causasian element's one i'm keen to stick to - on the first world they evacuated to people started out sticking to their own (hence the Indian and Chinese territories) but pretty soon practicality wins out over any hangups and the cultures start to merge. Suleman Worthington's kind of a case in point (and one of my Test-Characters, incidentally) - he's like a Moslem Indiana Jones.

I'm pretty familiar with Hinduism in particular (Religious Studies student) so I've been using old accounts of Hindu castes and social classes alongside books like "London Labour and the London Poor" for a bit of flavour ^__^

I've hit up 4Shared, my usual source for PDFs of sourcebooks. There's a few on there i'll harvest in the morning, thanks for the tip-off!

Other SP stuff i've been using has been limited to Mortal Engines and (shame) Vampire Hunter D. Well I suppose I could always rewatch Wild Wild West... *ducks*.

The Phillip Reeve series - no idea what the KJ Jeter ones are, and google wasn't any help :(
