Thanks for your comments. This fic was one of those that started off with one idea and gradually evolved, so I may not have gone back and looked at the beginning well enough to make sure it flowed logically into the resolution. I'll make sure to pay more attention when that happens in the future ( ... )

Ooh, this was sexy - I don't know the fandom but I liked the smut and how at the end they seemed to have been playing a game all along - denial ain't just a river...

This was well-written and flowed very well. I especially liked the ending. I agree with mistertalbot that there could have been just a bit more at the beginning to help those not familiar with the fandom understand the relationship between the two characters.

I'm not terribly familiar with this, I never made it very far into Star Ocean. But this was nicely done, I liked the ending where Cliff said he'd keep following and Albel just smiled. It set me to wondering if that sort of thing had happened before with the same sort of reluctance or if this was just the beginning. It had a really good build to get to the sex and even that was well paced, a nice well rounded little story.
