The Obscura FM project involves a bicycle based FM radio station. After finding information that the C. Crane Digital FM Transmitter is easily moddable to extend the range to 100 feet we decided to give it a try

Black zip ties have been shown to increase transmitter range...so I've heard.
I like the Obscura lettering job, heh.
Still wrangling with heavy battery drain on the surplus toyota radio, I will crack the case and take a peak inside, it sounds kick ass when it's not sucking the life out of my battery bank, got decent range from Graeme's Ipod during this evenings ride.
