At least you're probably not feeling as bad as this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pStRYD1DEKM

If you are, at least you're not wearing fishing waders (I hope). It will all be over soon! You can do it!

LOL. I smelled like Dry Erase Markers and Denny's. I was either drawing on my closet doors (big mirrors) or sitting at Denny's til one am, so I smelled like greasy diner breakfast.

Hang in there.

Trusts are pretty easy, all things considered. Just make sure you know the different classifications and, especially the requirements of charitable trusts.

Let me know if I can help.

And breathe.

It's all going to be okay. Last night (this morning, really), the BF (also taking the bar) and I were talking about ppty, and I said, "Oh, that's and FSSEL with a shifting excutory interest, right?". After which, I decided that property is my bitch ( ... )

That's awesome. You've a lot more trial experience than I do, but I gotta say, Evidence made so much more sense when I was using it during trial than when I was trying to learn it in the abstract.

I got lucky and didn't have secured transactions or commercial paper. On the other hand, I totally had California Civil procedure/Fed Procedure to learn the distinctions of and the Professional Responsibility Essays asked for three different codes - MPC, MRPC, and California. Ridiculous to remember two, let alone three.

I'm glad things are crystallizing for you. It's nice to know you're prepared when it comes down to it, as I'm sure you are.

If I had to take the CA bar, I'd want to shoot myself. The only wonky thing we have in MS is that we still have a chancery court system, but it's really not complicated. Y'all have a ridiculous number of distinctions.

Evidence makes NO EFFING SENCE if you've never had to argue it. It's something you learn way better by doing because it's entirely situational. My boyfriend and I got together because he was my mock trial team captain in college, and I hated him, but didn't really, and he's some sort of evidence savant. I can cite most of the rules by number and tell you what it means;he can cite all of them, even the stupid 900 series that no one cares about and every effing exception, and give you 14 examples of how it works. Then again, I've probably seen hundreds of mock trial rounds, and he's still the best I've ever seen. And he closes like it's he was made for it. Seriously, why do I think that's hot? Cause I really do.
