i remember your big day at ikea watching you and audrey try to decide on each piece of furniture...i know it sounds corny, but i really like the way you make decisions...you have a good balance of logic and heart...i feel that with you it's definitely more about the process not the product...i guess this was supposed to be a "memory" post...and i'm kind of turning it into a tribute post...but yeah...i'm definitely super glad to have you now in my life...you're literally the new age baby! :)
my most recent adorable memory is your surprise at the wedding reception when tori amos came on. you telling me "i thought you had made a mistake" when i told you it was for you.
i really did think it was a mistake! and then i was embarassed and then i was just really touched. you thought of me when you were planning your wedding! that is the ultimate love.
i remember meeting you for the first time in new york when all us boston travellers were super tired and out of it, and yumi and i were having this insane singing-in-harmony afternoon, going through the entire dear nora album track by track. we met you in the middle of that psychic hubub and i probably came off as so rude!
ive got TWO memories. first, we're standing in an elevator and we're going up. and someone is talking about the tori concert and we're both like, we're going :D oh, wait! are you froggyjen? D: nuhuh!
and, the time we taped our radio show and bored ourselves. especially with leonard cohen, hehe. we had to stop it 1/3 of the way through because it was that boring.
