It was the first session, I'm also going to see a different counselor to compare the two and see which I like better. I'm also going to give her a few sessions before I make a decision. Honestly, after seeing patients all day I can see how she would treat it as a business or at least fall into the impersonal motions.

Therapist tend to be a lot more profession in my eyes compared to a counselor, but it depends on the organization.

I've actually received a lot of help from therapists that are free to people on welfare payments.
