I apologize deeply for the anonymous post, but I felt I should not register until I asked a certain question...so again, I'm really sorry about this. Please delete it if you'd like.

I was wondering, though, if members would be permitted to play as deceased characters. I've been looking for a good place to rp as Cedric Diggory, but since he dies in the end of GoF, not many communities will accept someone to play him.

Sorry about not responding for a long time, and we do hope you get this somehow!

The rules are that you may not play deceased players in oblivi8. However, if you especially wanted to roleplay a deceased character who a) survived somehow or b) is now a ghost, you may email us (oblivi8 @ gmail.com) and we can try to work something out for you.

(If you want to play someone like Cedric though, we recommend Justin Finch-Fletchley or Ernie Macmillan. :) )

To be a character in oblivi8, you must first send in an application to oblivi8 @ gmail.com and be accepted.

If you are accepted, yes, you may decide to do something else instead of Remus/Tonks. :)

Actually, nevermind. I just read the part about giving up this journal if I have to leave the game. I'm sorry, I can't do that, as I use this journal for another game.

I think you might have misinterpreted something. We don't ask people to give up their other RPG journals if they belong to something other than oblivi8. :) Where did you read this?

Generally, we look for students/professors who go to Hogwarts, but it would be awesome if you'd like to apply for Bill Weasley! :) I'm sure chatting with the mods/players will help give you something to do!
