[For being such a terrifying ship, Zelda's been an incredibly good mood as of late. She's gotten to spend time with some of her favorite people. She's gotten to see Link again--even if he is a child. And now she has a baby. Well, technically it's not really hers, but... It does look a little like her. Oh, and the cute guy that came with her ( Read more... )

[Zelda's touched by such a thing. She smiles a little to herself.]

Oh... Well...
Thank you. Although I am certain many people sound wonderful aboard this ship.

Ah, well, I cannot sing, so...

[Doesn't bug her too much though]

You seem to be enjoying having a baby.

[Zelda very rarely sings and normally she only does when she thinks no one can hear her. The baby, Zeke, and a few others are exceptions.]

...Do I?
I... suppose I am. It reminds me a little of when I was younger. I suppose it means I am feeling nostalgic.

Are you enjoying yours, Miss...?

Yes. Are you a dear friend of his?

No, no. I simply met him yesterday. I've only just arrived.

Oh! Welcome aboard, Miss.

I hope your accommodations have not been too... out of the way for you. Some have a very difficult time adjusting.

Ah, don't worry about it.

[There was a small yawn which he covered his mouth with his bandaged hand. He enjoyed the lil song that she sung, even if the language was unfamiliar to him.]

Sure, we can go somewhere. I'm not exactly sure where yet though.

[The idea that Reiner is willing to go with her. Otherwise the little one would cry far too much.]

Hm... Well, where did you like going as a child? I am sure his little eyes are filled with wonder and amazement. After all, I have been spoiling him since his arrival. Perhaps you should too.

I didn't really go places as a kid, my mother was a bit over-protective of me and my sister; but the odd time we'd go out to a playground. I don't know if there's one on board.

[As much as the man did want to spoil the little one, caught between knowing and not knowing how to go about it. There was that tiny lil fear of his that the child might come in to skin contact, which he was trying to avoid.]

Oh... I know there is the field of flowers... I think that is as close to a playground as we are going to get. I never really had much a childhood either, so we are very much the same.

[Zelda has no qualms with simply holding the child near him.]

Come to think of it, should we not give him a name? It seems unfair if we simply say 'him' all of the time.

[Although naming anything is the first step to getting too attached.]

Onii-san.

[Zelda smiles brightly. She really couldn't be grinning any broader.]

Do you have one too?

*Giggles and enjoys the feeling at being called that.*

I did! It's a boy.

You sound so very happy. It seems to add to my own.

[Her tone reflects that, of course.]

Mine is also a boy. Does he look more like you or the other?

Jak! How are you?

[Zelda has a baby. What.

... okay so a LOT of people have babies on board. But it's Zelda.]

... I'm fine. How's the uh ... baby sitting?

[There are no words to describe Zelda's surprise. Most likely, anyway. And if there are, Zelda has never heard them in any dialect of Hylian or Common.

What could he possibly be thinking? Well, perhaps she should flatter him instead.]

It is... interesting. Not difficult in the least. Well, perhaps a little difficult. You do not have one, Jak?
