An endless cycle does not necessarily imply a 'good' one. It's very hard to see the silver lining of this cloud.
Still, we persevere. What a wonder man is.

Damas.
Your Highness, I've spoken with him as requested. I can't say how much use it did, but at least we said something instead of doing nothing at all.
Were you successful in your endeavours

there will be no obstacles, anger in the hands of compassion, !kevas, !his highness damas, !keats, what's "right" and what's "necessary", !zeke, with ears that hear the gods, longing for older days

I wasn't saying anyone should give up. It's nice to see that people haven't. That some people haven't.

How have you been, Zeke?

I'm great, Zelda. How 'bout you? Keepin' yourself occupied?

A little too occupied, if you know what I mean.

[A good-natured chuckle right here.]

I was; he offered to warn Ironhide. However, I am not sure if he was successful.

[Mostly because he doesn't know who or where Ironhide is.]

You'd think people understood that communication between the masses was important.

I haven't heard Ironhide's musings lately, though. Is that... a sign?

[Were they too late?]

I am not sure myself. I would hope the man can take care of himself.

[Eeeeven though Ironhide's a sentient robot. Damas doesn't know that, though.]

[He says things like that and makes her feel silly for even having the slightest bit concern.]

Yes, you're right. I would hope the same thing.

By 'endless cycle,' you're talking about this place?

Not in general, though it can apply to the entire ship. More or less the idea that those interested in using force don't exactly win. Force only leads to more. Force is sometimes necessary, but there are some aboard who carry it too far.

I agree ... then again, that kinda depends. It leads to more force, but some people want that. Or they don't care if they cause it, as long as they get what they want.

That's very insightful of you. I can't disagree. There are some people who prefer force. When you're not one of them, sometimes you don't get much of a say. It may be the price we pay for all being such differing individuals.

[Zelda laughs. Really, she doesn't do this very often anymore. Zelda used to laugh a lot, but lately things have been a little too somber to do that. And it's harder to hold the good feelings for other people in moments like that.]

I'm not surprised to hear you say that at all.

Joo be knowin' me all too well.

[Kevas enjoys hearing her laughter. That too is another kindness that this ship has brought him.]

Difficult to forget someone who's made an impression.

[Zelda's never forgotten Kevas, not for a day. She doubts she ever will.]
