Just read the series thus far -- I read the Valdemar books in high school, and thought I'd get a kick out of this series. I wasn't disappointed. This has been quite fun thus far.

But my favourite bit? Spock's reaction to being Chosen. I laughed so hard.

(I... don't suppose we'll be seeing Sulu or Uhura any time soon, will we?)

I'm glad you think it's fun! It's been pretty fun to create, I have to say. And I'm glad you think Spock was funny! I mean, *I* thought he was, but there was a chance other people would think it was boring... D:

The rest of the gang (Uhura, Sulu, Chekov, and Scotty) should be showing up in the next couple chapters.

Thanks for enjoying! Technically, Companions don't even have black skin-- they tap into some very powerful magics to the do the amazing things they do, and that power bleaches them out. XD But whatever makes you happy, you can have any visual image you desire~
