[ He's stirring a little, still quite cold and wet and on the shore of the beach. Must be quite a sight to see the ruffles-wearing prosecutor in such a state of disarray, but he did end up drowning. Still, that persona of him from the past has no regrets, he'd managed to rescue the one person, who, to that person, had been important to rescue

[ A whisper.. And more silence. Looks like he's slipped back into unconsciousness... the words clear and soft before the silence comes. ]

[ has had some time to get his bearings already, even if it hasn't worked as well as it could. nonetheless, there's a happy - if concerned - face waiting when he finally catches sight of Edgeworth. ]

[ nudge nudge nudges with a foot. ]

[ He stirs, the nudge affecting him and he ends up choking, water spilling from his mouth ]

[ His arms go around his own stomach instinctively-- never has the frilly prosecutor been such a mess before and he did swallow a lot of water ]

[ he was expecting that, and carefully kneels beside his fellow prosecutor - giving his back a firm (but probably not entirely helpful) pat. ]

[ because to ask if he's alright seems futile. ]

[ It takes him a few moments, before he stops coughing, and he partly opens his eyes, looking up at him. His vision is blurred and he's a soggy mess, but... ]

[ He coughs out the name weakly and blinks a few times, feeling the sand beneath him. ]
