The section manager got on my case today about not wearing the 'proper' glasses to work. Sigh. I accidentily put on the orange ones, and he yelled at me in front of the entire office. It was mortifying. But Ohara-san gave me some really nice cookies when she brought e tea later, so I guess that sort of makes up for it

I'm trying to get a Creative Writing minor and reading is always a good way to learn a language. I could always let you read the essays and short stories that I have to write for class.

That might be interesting! I wouldn't mind reading your stuff, actually. I took a few creative writing lasses when I was in college, so if you ever need a hand. . . (Okay, so my class was in Japanese but I'm sure I can offer some help?)

Oh! I didn't know you took creative writing courses. If you could, would you be willing to write little comments while you read? Questions or anything you were confused about? It could be a big help to the both of us.

A couple years ago, yeah. I work for the NHK in the program editing department, editing scripts, so it's something I'm pretty familiar with. I can offer comments if you'd like, it's not a problem at all.

As for how to deal with your papers, would you rather have comments written in emails on your computer or red ink on paper? I do both, so it's not a big deal, it'll be nice to edit something that's not for my job for a change.
